You probably need brakes... (I know the obvious) but if they're dragging means front calipers are extended and sensors are triggering dash lights. I highly suspect you need front brakes.

Hi, Julie--I think I found the problem. There was a recall on your ABS system. You can read about it here: http://www.edmunds.com/car-maintenance/recalls.html?year=2000&make=&model=&styleId=7845&engCode=6VNAG4.3&transCode=AUTOMATIC&mileage=110000&zip=45390&type=recall

Do you know if the recall work was done on your truck?
Even if it was, I would ask your dealer to look up your VIN and check out the truck to make sure the recall work was done properly.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Jeff

How do ABS brake systems work on 2004 Rav 4's on icy roads

ABS systems are designed to engage when braking suddenly causing tire skid/spin...the system is designed to pump the brake pedal and the driver should hold the brake pedal down firmly...DO NOT PUMP...the ABS does this for you.

It feels like my 4WD is trying to engage when I am driving down the road. a terrible grinding noise comes and goes in my font end. What could this be?

The encoder motor on the transfer case could be engaging slightly.A c0327 is usually set in the transfer case module.Replace the sensor in the encoder motor if this code is present.

Check your front brakes. If the fluid in the brake master cylinder is down so are the brake pads

Brake light flickers while driving down the road.

Check the brake fluid. It may be just low enough to occasionally turn the light on as you hit bumps and it sloshes a little. Add a little brake fluid to the reservoir and check the brake pads all around.

How do i change brake fluid in my 2004 Hundai Accent

1st check the easy things, that would be the brake fluid level. If it's low, the light will go on. Next check the emergency brake, if it's on slightly, the light can come on. Your fluid should be changed when u have a brake job done, the light wouldn't be on for that, only if there is a problem w/ the system. Check this out asap, as it can be unsafe to drive. If adding fluid to the proper level results in the light going out, make sure to check the level daily to make sure u don't have a leak in the system (and u can look under the car for signs of a leak-drips stains puddles). As your brakes wear down, it is normal to have to add fluid, but only a small amount maybe a couple of times between brake jobs. If u have the brakes done in the future, have them flush out the brake system. This is overlooked most of the time, and can result in problems down the road w/ corrosion of calipers and brake cylinders, which lead to premature wear on the brake pads and shoes. Let me know how u make out.
