Let the vehicle idle for a couple minutes and everything should return to normal. The oil in the passageways, oil filter and oil cooler(if fitted) can take up to 1.5 litres depending on the engine. Some of it may have drained out. When starting up dont rev the engine. just let it idle. Once shut down leave it be for another couple minutes to allow oil in the head to drain to the sump before checking. The level should be between the 2 marks on the dipstick whether the engine is hot or cold.
2 litres does however seem a tad on the low side for a refill.
