I assume you mean the front or rear power accessory sockets. You will need to check two fuses. 1) Fuse no. 8 (7.5A) in the drivers under dash fuse/relay box. 2) Fuse no. 9 (15A) in the passenger's kick panel fuse/relay box. Both these fuses must be good for the accessory sockets to have power.

SOURCE: 2000 Honda Odyssey rear wiper motor replacement

You are probably correct in thinking its the wiper motor. You can do this but you will need to remove all the interior trim from the rear hatch first. Get a trim clip removal tool at a parts store...it will work much better than just a flat blade screwdriver. You'll have to remove the trim panels starting in order from the top of the door, then the left rear window side trim, then right rear window side trim, then the grab handle, and finally the main rear hatch trim panel. Once inside, removing and replacing the rear wiper motor is easy. You'll start by lifting the cover on the wiper arm retention nut. Remove this nut to get the wiper arm off, then remove the nut under neath which is the motor shaft mounting nut. Now, back inside to remove the other 3 motor mounting bolts. Don't forget to disconnect the connector for the motor wires. Reverse steps to replace.

SOURCE: 1991 honda accord motor turns over but will not

Pull the mains relay up to the left of dash board. Remove cover from relay assy and check solder connections on pcb where relays are soldered in. Resolder if bad and that should solve your problem.

Is there a fuse that run the air condition inthe honda odyssey 2006

Hondas all have a fuse and blower relay located in the battery junction block. You can try swapping relays around if the fuse is good. Then verify the blower motor is good by disconnecting it and applying 12v directly to the motor. If this checks good, check for 12v at the blower connector while disconnected, (key on/fan on). Had a CRV in the shop a few days ago with the exact same issue, power to the motor but a weak ground signal. Replaced the blower resistor.

Looking into buying a used 2003 honda odyssey with just over 100,000 miles. what maintence is required? i heard timing belt should be replaced. is this true and how much am i looking at?

For a 2003 used Honda odyssey, the following should be required:-

1. Replace the timing belt. (repair estimates at www.repairpal.com)
2. Drain the whole oil out of the engine and transmission
3. Replace the brake pads
4. Most of all run a diagnosis scan on the vehicle to detect any other possible maintenance that will be required.

Good luck and a good buy.

Take care.

4.0 hours
most shops charge $80-$100/hr

so $320 - $400 PLUS parts and extras

its also advisable that while the tech is in there you should also have the following replaced...
camshaft oil seal (add .2/hrs + parts)
timing belt tensioner (add .2/hrs + parts)

Someone please email me and let me know if a 2.2. engine on HONDA, ODYSSEY, 1996 is a "interference" or "non interference" type engine...so I know whether I can wait for TIMING BELT to wear out without...

if there is any question in your mind that there might be a problem I would replace it I do all of mine every 125000 miles just to be sure and at that time I'm able to fix any small problems that has the potential for turning into a bigger one later.

I think that my 2005 Honda Odyssey needs a new

And we're going to be able too...my guess would be to have about $750 ready.  And this is a guess because I don't know where you live, how much the repair shops in the area charge and what else they will find wrong.  Also how many miles are on the car.  Sorry I can't do better.  Good luck and have it done.

Serpentine belt won't fit

yes the cold temps will shrink the belt. But usually there is enough extra to work with......If you are sure the belt is routed properly (and it's easy to mess it up I've been doing this kinda stuff for 25 years and i still get it wrong sometimes) You can try to heat the belt in the house, put it near a heater or soak it in really hot water and try to get it on fast enough that it will stay slightly stretched for long enough. other than that I would inquire at your local part store about a slightly longer one or maybe your belt came in the wrong package and is too short for your vehicle
Good luck and thanks for choosing FIX YA!
