If you are trying to prime the oil system, simply pull off the the primary ignition coil wire, or if it doesn't have one, remove the wiring harness going to the coil, turn the motor over for about 15 seconds, and go from there. To prime the fuel system, simply turn the ignition switch to the on position, wait 2 seconds, turn it off, wait two seconds and turn it back on again, do this about five times, and the fuel system will prime itself.

Smelling like gas getting to the engine isn't a proper testing procedure. Hooking up a fuel pressure gauge and testing the actual pressure is . You may have a little fuel but not enough . should have 30 . 40 , 50 psi don't know ,you don't say what year or model dodge. Plus doing electrical checks of fuel pump circuit ,voltage drop testing.

Hooking up a scan tool an viewing engine data .should also be done .Guessing is not how to do auto repair ,testing is !

I have a 1994 chevy surburban with a 6.5 turbo diesel and it hasnt been plug in for a few month so i was wondering what would b the easiest way to start it and what can i do to make it easier to start for...

By plugging it in I assume you mean the block heater for the engine.
I would plug it in for an hour or two before starting. also give the glow plugs plenty of time to heat up before starting. If you don,t have a garage to put it in try to find a place out of the wind and with direct sun in the day this may help some. laying an old blanket or quilt or even a tarp over the hood and front end could help some. after sitting for a prolonged period of time in cold weather hook a charger up to the battery before starting to top off the battery's charge. Hope this helps.

My car has had a few problems lately, can you help

I have the same problem with not starting. I have noticed that if I go easy on the gas pedal right before I pull into the parking space or the last 20-30 seconds before I shut off the engine, it will "cooperate" much better when I start next time. Also fillip up on Shell V-Power premium twice in a row on long trips seems to solve the problem for a few days; have no idea why!

I have a 1985 Chevy S-10. I have not started or drove this vehicle for a few months. I go to start it today and the clutch goes all the way to the floor with no resistance. Please help?

Your S10 has a clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, a hydraulic clutch system.

You need to fill the master cylinder and bleed both the master and slave cylinders in order for the clutch mechanism to work properly.

My 1993 infinti j30t hasnt had powersteering for a number of months now is it possible my pump has gone out the original problem was the pressure line

if you pumped out all the fluid the pump may have dryed out at that time and its finaly given up the gost now, look to see if its full of strearng fluid lift your car up at the front on a jack (both wheels clear of the ground) then start your car and turn the wheel fully from left to right a fuw times this may bleed any air out the rams, if it still dont waor its your pump died on you
