How tell if you have a cracked block are a blown Head gasket

Gaskets will blow way before a cracked block or head. I have only seen 2 cracked blocks. Both where because there wasn't coolant in the engine. Straight water in sub zero weather.

We change the head gasket we put it on now we have oil comminh up from vent hole that cross over on the vbank rear of the engine

What is year--make--model, not sure about m62? Are you talking about crankcase motor oil blowing out? If so, check for too much crankcase pressure. Too much pressure and it will blow oil out anywhere and everywhere it can. I can't tell if head gasket--cracked block--melted piston, several things could cause it.

Blowing anitfreeze out the tailpipe. I know this means a head gasket. When the engine runs, it blows antifreeze out the passenger side of the engine at the exhaust manifold by the middle cylinder. Does...

could be just head gasket and bad exhaust manifold gasket (coolant leaks past head gasket into exhaust port then leaks out of exhaust manifold gasket)
or it possible that head is cracked too
Only way to know for sure is to remove head and inspect it

My car keeps overheating its not the thermostat, what could it be where are the head gaskets located

Here is a link to an article that will tell you how to find out why your engine is overheating.

If it got hot enough to blow a head gasket, then there is also a possibility that the cylinder head is actually cracked.

Blown head gasket 2nd time in a year

oh i love blowing head gaskets there alot of fun arnt they. but the reason your blowing head gaskets is the head is warped and you'll have to take it to a machine shop and have it machined flat again i would also have them check for cracks.

How do i tell if the heads creaked on a 91 celica

a cracked head or blown head gasket, will cause your vehicle to have a miss in the cylander where the crack is or where the gasket is blown. you can also see coolant leaking if the gasket is blown. you can also see water in the oil,and white smoke come from the exhaust.
to tell for sure that the head is cracked, and not just a blown gasket is to remove the head. you will instantly see if the gasket is blown. if its not, then turn the head upside down and look at the small space between the valves,as this is where 99% of cracks occur.

Leaking anti freeze from the caddalic converter

Water/Antifreeze in the exhaust, and usually a cloud of white smoke, is indicative of a blown head gasket or cracked. This usually happens when the vehicle overheats due to a bad thermostat; the head gasket usually blows first and can sometimes crack the head.
Blown head gasket - 350 to 400 to repair; cracked head, add 200 to 300 dollars.
