How do you replace the starter ? The owner, a neighbor, replaced his battery on a 2004 Lincoln Navigator and now the vehicle won't turn over. The starter just clicks.

I have a 1998 lincoln navigator.starter issues

You may be in the group who had a bad starter cable. My 1999 had problems with the primary starter cable that runs under the vehicle. Its over $100 and like wrestling with a python to get it out.
If you noticed lights dimming or heard the radio crackling, the body grounds may corroded.

Car wont start

On all the older ford made products, there was a solonoid on the fender that made the clicking noise. It was about $20.00. On the 95 T/C, they have the same type starter Chevy and other cars have. It has the solonoid on the starter. It looks like you are going to have to replace the starter. It is closer to $200.00. Wish I had better news.
