Typically very close to the lock itself, connected by linkage.

2006 Charger trunk popper won't pop with the key fob and the in-car button, what should I look for?

I had this problem also, does your third brake light come on? Also is your trunk light functional? If not there is a rubber boot from the car to the trunk lid, that those wires
run through make sure that the wires arent broken in there. That rubber boot on
my 06' Charger over time curled towards the window and got pinched and severed
all the wires. I soldered them and replaced the blown fuses in the trunk fuse box.
Problem solved.

My trunk popper quit working and i have no key, any way to open it without having to break the lock or call a locksmith?

try looking along side of the seat if you don't i no advanced auto has a tester to see if your
popper is working if it is working you might want to check the fuse box to see maybe a
blown fuse the only other way is to remove the back seat and go though the opening to
open the trunk

hope this helps you

Locked key in trunk with door open alarm sounding

I'm certain the Avalon has a trunk popper on the driver's side floor, next to the seat, inside the vehicle. Just pull the trunk lever, pop the trunk, get the key and shut it off.

Is there a button inside the car to open the trunk for a 2004 Infiniti G35 coupe?

on the left side of the steering wheel. if you reach bellow in plain sight. there should be a few control switches. if i remember correctly there is there. there is one that says VTC. and to the left of the button. there is a switch. that is the trunk popper switch. slide the button down and it will open the trunk.

My battery has ran down,i dont have a key to open the trunk, how do i get it open..The trunk latch inside the car wont work since i have no power..Please help.

Here is what I did. I folded down the arm rest in the center of the backseat. Then you will see a plastic piece that is held in by a few clips. Pop this rectangular plastic piece off and put it to the side. Now for the fun part. Take a jig saw or saw zaw and cut a hole through the plastic seat backing behind the plasic rectangular piece you just popped off. After you cut a hole in the seat back you will be able to take something long, reach in and pull the trunk popper in the back of the trunk. What I used was a cane with a claw hammer taped to the straight end of the cane and then used the curled end of the can to hold onto and pulled the little trunk popper handle with the claw of the hammer. Use a flashlight and shine it in the hole you made so you can locate the white handled trunk popper. It is in the very back of the car in the center and it hangs down from the trunk lid if I'm not mistaken... Also I was just told this and have not checked to see if its true but I guess you can pop the hood manually(without needing a charged battery) and look for a battery post located in the engine bay that connects to the battery in the trunk. This way you can hook jumper cables up to this post therefore bypassing the battery in the trunk altogether.
Hope this helps........

Now if I could only figure out the slow draw in my 2004 Lincoln Ls
Actually its more of a fast draw. Everynight I have to put it on a 2 amp trickle charger so it will start in the morning. I've been doing some research and will be dusting off the multimeter for some testing tommorow.

Trunk "popper" quit working, but "pull down" still works

can you still open it through the key? does the pull down motor not work at all? if the pull down still works it sounds like the popper has just gone weak/bad . they need to be replaced after so long. seeing as you should have a keyfob and a button in the car. im assuming that means its the solenoid switch for the trunk release which is a 30 dollar part.
