Clutch Assy Service, is seldom done in your driveway

It always involves removing a very heavy transmission

Having the flywheel machined and new parts installed

Then there are hydraulics & throw out brg to replace etc.

I need to replace clutch fluid in 2004 Xterra, the clutch sticks at the back of engagement. Thanks

Ben,

I doubt that changing the fluid will fix this issue...It sounds like the throwout bearing is hanging up on something either due to wear or lack of lubrication (grease), Has it ever been serviced to your knowledge?

When i let out on my clutch it makes a tapping sound but when i press it in it stops

Most likely this is a Throw out bearing going bad but could be the clutch plate itself. You'll need to open the transmission up, remove the transmission, then adjust and replace the worn or broken parts.

Cluthch for AC

power to the clutch went to a lot of parts.

you can trace the power from the fan blower switch, then to the ac switch, then to the pressure switch then to the relay.

ow i forgot, the power source fuse is the first to check also. the fan fuse is different from the compressor fuse. pls check them both.

tnx 4 using fixya,
