hi, i also have a problem with my warrior 03 , the engine indication lamp keeps coming on. i can usually drive maybe 5 miles then it comes on . i turn the engine off let it rest a few mins then start it up again, and again it will come on a few miles down the road. i did take it to a mitsubishi dealer a few weeks back, and they couldn't find anything wrong, so he reset it. i drove off and again it came back on after a few mins drive. Urg!

Hello mate if it has got lack of power it could have a split vacuum hose on the turbo actuator and there is 5 or 6 hoses at the back of the rocker make sure they are all ok and not split. it sounds like u have no boost so it would put a malfunction in the ecu cause the the boost pressure sensor would be reading incorrectly.

How are you supposed to start a l200 on a 04 plate properly

the owners hand book will have the starting procedure but as a rule with a diesel you wait for the glow plug light to go out, depress clutch , as with all cars depressing the clutch reduces the energy required to turn engine over as the gearbox is disengaged, and start engine , there should be no need to use the accelerator to get the engine to start, hope this helps

Mitsubishi l200 cuts out

It is probably the Suction Control Valve (SCV), it is fitted on the back of the highpressure diesel pump. I just changed one and it works all fine. The Valve should be around 200 euros on ebay, or about 450 euros at your Maindealer. Universal diagnostics will tell you all kinds of things but not this valve. Don`t know what about the proper Mitsubishi Program.
Good luck

Take it back to your garage, did you tell them about this problem when you brought it in? If you did, they should have at least diagnosed it for you and given you an estimate for trying to repair it.

I have a Mitsubishi L200 2.5TD pick up and my engine management light comes on when I start up and stays on.There are no obvious problems when running except for the light being on,any ideas please ?

Take it to Autozone and ask them to pull the codes that are making the light stay on. They do it for free!! They will tell you what component is bad and sell it to you on the spot!! Pretty cool huh??

L200 warrior turbo fault, drives ok for miles then suddenly no power engine light on, turn off then on all ok again

iv only st come on here and seen this post i know exactly what this problem is. it's the waste gate in the turbo gets full of carbon and then over boosts itself and put on the engine management light and when you turn the key on and off it resets it. so what you have to do id take the turbo off and clean out the waste gate which is on the exhaust side and that will get rid of all your problems and the better you clean it out the longer it will last.
