I cannot be of much help here as never seen one but what i would do in this case to take a rocker cover off and follow the valves ,so inlet valve closes and exahust is coming around to open then cylinder is firing so if you know the number of the cylinder you fit that lead into position rotor arm is pointing at and then follow that lead with the firing order starting from that number .

Since your distributer cap spins in a clockwise motion, just make sure you start with 1 then 4, then in the full order to make sure the sequence is correct.

Turn the #1 cylinder to top dead center, on the compression stroke. Remove the cap and see where the rotor button is pointed. This is the #1 cylinder plug wire position. Start from here, and clockwise run 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.
