I think you are correct, most master switches have a lockout button that can fail. You can try pushing the lockout button many times to see if this restores normal function. Most switches are self cleaning, but if you don't use them they can lose connection...I hope this helps.

Do the individual door switches work their windows? If so, it would be the driver's side door switch, the master switch, that is bad.
The fact that one window works off the driver switch means that power for the windows is at least getting to the master switch, and that the ground for all power windows is good. If the other door switches work, it is just the master switch, not a wiring problem.

Power windows won't work

Step1: look for windows locks on your master panel, press that see if it unlocks the rest. If not, proceed...
Step 2: Try to work the passenger windows individual switches, along with master switches.
Step 3: Because all 3 passenger windows fail, least likely to be motor or broken wires or no power contacts and all that, it is more likely to be your master switch.
Step 4: You can unscrew any interior trim that gets in your way of getting the master switch panel out(less likely), use a very thin flat blade to pry the panel out, do it gently, and try evenly as possible, when you get it out, unplug it, look for the part number, then order new part, supply them with all your car's detail.
Step 5(bonus & not recommended): Feel the clicking as you try on the passenger switches and compare them to the driver's switch, note any even slight difference, if there is no clicking then there's a chance that they don't contact. You can try take them a part and use some picks to bend the contacts together.
All the other guys have given you help about how to test the circuit, mine won't be necessary.

I have a 2004 dodge ram 2500, the passenger window switches don't work

Not uncommon, the master window switch on the driver's door goes wonky. Mine had same problem (2003 1500 4.7L long cab) and simply replacing the master switch fixed both bad passenger switch intermittent problems. Easy swap, cheap at the dealer.

Is there a window lock feature on the master switch? If there is it could be a bad wire from that to the other switches. That switch has to power all the other switches. I would check out that wire first.

Rear side windows

This may be just a case of inadvertently hitting the window lock out n th driver door window switch by mistake. Check that first. Here's some background on window operation

Principles of Operation
The driver power window regulator motor is controlled directly by the master window/door lock/unlock switch (and its integrated "auto down" module). Power is supplied to the power window relay and the master window/door lock/unlock switch, and the passenger power window switch when the SEC/timer module grounds the coil side of the power window relay. The SEC/timer module will ground this relay when the ignition is in the ON position and will remain energized for approximately 15 minutes or until the driver or passenger door is opened.
The driver power window regulator motor is a reversible motor that is operated by applying power and ground to the motor leads to lower the window, and then reversing polarity on those leads to raise the window.
The passenger power window regulator motor is controlled directly by the passenger power window switch and can also be controlled by the master window/door lock/unlock switch.
The passenger power window regulator motor is a reversible motor, which is operated by applying power and ground to the motor leads to lower the window, and then reversing polarity on those leads to raise the window.
The power rear quarter glass is also directly controlled by the master window/door lock/unlock switch. The power rear quarter glass power latches also utilize reversible motors. The power rear quarter glass power latches are operated by applying power and ground to the motor leads to open the window, and then reversing polarity on those same leads to close the window.

When you open the drivers door you can see a wiring harness between the door and the body of the car.
You more than likely have wires broken in there.
