2000 GMC s10 4.3 v6 vortec wont start. Turns over but wont start please give all reasons why it wont. Ive replaced fuel filter, spark plugs are fine, fuel pump works,

Check spark at the spark plug by putting a screw driver up the cover hold it close to an earth and get some one to crank it over ,the spark should jump to earth.

No fuel and no spark

fuel pump , fuel pump relay on fire wall, fuel filter, may all need replaced, pump in tank, inspect all wiring in this circuit, especially all grounds,, grounds get overlooked & that is sometimes the problem. I have a 1988 gmc 2500, I 'm talking from experience. can you hear if fuel pump runs for 2 seconds, when you turn key on ? if not, ground problem or pump problem. relay has a fuse in it, check that. check all fuses. NOW, spark ! coil ? plug wires ? distributor cap & rotor ? replace them if you haven't !!!!!!!!!! get to work, see how you do ! good luck !

2002 chevy 3500 duramax 6.6 ran hot now cranks but won't start

Check spark plugs, leads, distributor cap & rotor arm, fuel pump, fuel filter, coil pack(s), relays, replace any items that are suspect IE Fuel filter which has probably not been changed since new even though they should be changed on all vehicles every 18 months, all of this can be done at home & will save you a lot of bucks in mechanic/garage fees,

Changed cap and rotor put in new coil but it just turns over and won't start

First you need to determan if you are getting spark, take the coil wire off, ether end...hold it close with a good insulated pear of pliers, to were you removed it from, with out plugging it in, now have someone crank the engine a few times to see if it is sparking. If it is not, you need to dig deeper into the electrical parts like distributor pickup , brain ect....If you have spark...now you need to check to see if you have fuel...disconnect the fuel line and hold a rag over it so you don't get splashed, again have someone crank the motor a few time to determan if you have fuel....if not, you need to check for glogged fuel filter, fuel pump relay or maybe fuel pump it self....
This should get you going in the right direction.....

1996 gmc sierra, have changed fuel pump and fuel filter. can smell plenty of gas coming out of exhaust pipe. tested for spark, have spark.. truck will crank but not start. what can i try or check now?

Check the timing and make sure the battery is good, the battery can sometime have the power to crank the engine but have internal problems that leave it without enough voltage to give you a hot enough spark to start the engine.
You could also have some bad ignition parts which could be shorting out your spark or sending it to the wrong spark plugs. Plus you could also have fouled spark plugs.

Engine will start - but will not turn over - changed distributor cap-plugs & wires ok, changed o2 sensor ??

Assuming you have spark (I assume you held up a plug while cranking so you could see it), the next step is to check for fuel.
