Hi

If it is a rear tire, make sure the parking brake is OFF. If the brake is already off it may be stuck , in which case you must either (drum brakes) readjust it loose with the adjuster-wheel in back of the lower axle backing. If disk brake you must open the bleeder valve, then after doing your repair you have to bleed the brakes.

If these do not work try pounding the wheel with a sledge hammer from the back, it may be stuck on the axle. Or kick on the side of the tire a little bit it should break loose, sometimes they will stick like that,

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

Hit tire and wheel one good time with good sledge hammer, there are only five lugs per wheel. Sometimes wheels will rust themselves on

How do you remove the tire off the 2008 Dodge Charger - can't even get the lug nuts off...nothing fits

you should have a lug nut wrench in the trunk with located with the tire jack that is the proper size for the lug nuts.if you have the original wheel nuts.you turn the wrench counter clockwise to remove them from the car.if they are chrome caps over regular steel wheel nuts then the rust could change the size of the required wrench.size.if you have chrysler road side assitance(3year assitance)then they can get you a tow truck to change the tire if you call the 1-800 # if it hasn`t been over 3 years.other wise you may have to have it towed to a shop.

you may have a bit of corrosion on the wheel making it stick to the hub. put the lug nuts back on but leave them 2 turns loose. then lower the car to the ground. turn the wheel left and right to help break it loose. Raise car back up and remove the lug nuts.

How to change the front tire of a Neon 2000?

Loosen the lug nuts. Jack the car up to where the tire is off the ground only slightly. Remove the lug nuts. Pull the old tire off. Put the spare tire on. While holding the spare on, put the lugs back on. Hand tighten them. Drop the car from the jack. Then tighten up the lugs again.

The tire may need a good kick to loosen the rusted/corroded bond to the axle, usually in the center section. Light sanding and a film of grease to the area after the wheel is off will help future removal.

Jeep wrangler change tires..

Changing tires on a 2007 Jeep Wrangler is no different than a typical vehicle. Any local service facility can help out.
If you are wanting to do it yourself:
1. Break the torque on the lug nuts while the vehicle is still on the ground. 2. Jack up the axle using the jack in the trunk (under the panel in the trunk floor) 3. Remove the wheel and tire 4. Replace with the spare or a new tire 5. Tighten the lug nuts to 85-90 ft-lb of torque, make sure you tighten in a star pattern.

Tire stuck/lug nuts removed

use 3lb sledge on inner edge of rim be careful not to damage rim rubber mallet won't provide enough shock to loosen rust. ps leave one lug nut on so tire won't fly off.
