If the tach is the only item not working, I suggest a wiring issue and not a fuse. Look for wires that need to go to the coil.

I didnt know until today that the air isnt working either but other than that everything else is working fine so do you still think its a wiring issue, and thank you for answering this for me. I will be looking for your response.

My thought is wiring. At the coil, for the tach, for example, there would be TWO wires to the "points" side (meaning not power side). It is more helpful if I were to know year/make/model.
The air may be more complicated. Did you have to open the A/C? If so, there are a slew of things that need to happen and be measured, as well as replacing the receiver/DRYER. When open to the atmosphere, the unit absorbs ambient moisture and will be saturated. Get back to me if you need more information on that front.

No I never opened the air system, all I did was unbolt it and lay it to the side,, and it worked fine before I changed engines, the make of the car is 1999 olds cutlass 3.1 I got the engine out of a buick the only differences I seen were the motor mounts

If you have an after-market radio, suspect the CHASSIS GROUND CONNECTION for the instrument cluster.
Also, check all fuses to be sure it isn't a blown fuse.

My turning signals will not work. The fuss is in tack and the bulbs are not blown what is the problem??

Sounds like the flasher is bad. Looks like your going to have to look under the dash and find the flasher, im not sure but it should be in the fuse panel under the dash. Locate the flasher and you may solve the problem. Good luck.

Fuel pump on my 93 ford ranger will not run and the check engine light will not come on when you turn the key on. Just put a new fuel pump on the truck. Any ideas on where to go next???

if u took the bed off to change the fuel pump make sure u hook the ground back up to the frame the ground should be on the driver side behind the tank,u need to change the fuel pump relay when u change a fuel pump because it could be bad to cause the first pump to quit working. not the right amount of volts or to much volts, the relay is under the hood in the fuse box,

Blower quit

Blower motor is likely bad if it doesn't work on any speed, if it works on only one speed then there is a resistor located by the blower motor that is bad each item should run around $30 at local parts store
