Question about 1996 Chevrolet Camaro
I can't get my car to start, I think I have a problem with the anti theft module.
My 1996 3.8l camaro turns over and has spark no pulse to the injector and fuel pump wont turn on but you can over ride pump with the red test wire under the hood?

You can start it by putting into program mode...try to start, then turn it to off..,,then turn it to on (not start)..leave it on for 15 min...turn it to off for 2 min..and start..
This will reset the signal from the bcm to the pcm of the car.
you most like ly have a problem in the start switch key reader...It has to be replaced as a unit
Or it could be your bcm or pcm...very very expensive... try this first... If it does not work off to the dealership..don't even try to give this to a garage to fix. Gm has the software to reflash your computer.
