P0705....Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Malfunction (PRNDL Input)

P0720....Output Speed Sensor Circuit

P0303....Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected

These are the codes and apart from the last one i have no idea as such as to what they mean because not many autos around here but i would hazard a guess and say that the output speed sensor needs changing ,which will be on the end of the gearbox wheel side but as for misfire no3 then clear codes asnd try changing the coils around and see what happens so if after a couple of days it then say misfire no2 cyl then at least you know it was a coil playing up

Missing and stumbling during acceleration

4.2 ltr missing. 2000 truck, f150. Changed plugs, wires. Ran great for 2 weeks. Started again. Changed coils. Got worse. Changed fuel filter, did nothing. Added injector cleaner and fuel cleaner, nothing. Checked EGR, o.k. It is getting worse. Had new gas about the time it all started.

98 Cavalier 2.4L engine stumbles at 2000-2500 rpm

Could be a short in the wiring for the O2 sensor.   I currently have the same issue only my car finally threw a code after two days of it acting up.  Code 106.  Changed the MAP sensor and it now throws 108, MAP sensor high voltage circuit.  Ah the joys of cold weather and broke down vehicles.  But I know that you wont always get a code with a short.  Let me know if you fixed the problem.

1998 Cavalier 2.4 L stumbles and misses at 2000-2500 RPM

Vacuume Leaks can cause this problems. you have to do a through check of vacuum hoses and the EGR valve. Your best bet can be to have your vehicle scanned at an autozone store and get a code. The EGR has to be closed at idle, then as the engine warms up or is accelerated, the EGR opens. That is if your car does not have an electronic EGR . The electronic EGRs do not use vacuum to operate. They are controlled by the PCM (power train control Module).

Coil pack keeps going bad,

Your problem sounds like an intermittent short in the power feed to the coil pack from the EEC module

I had the same problem with my 2000 Sonata a couple of years ago. It was the crank sensor and once replaced, it solved the problem.
