You might have a poor connection at the socket. I would remove and replace the bulb even if it looks OK. Also clean the socket with WD40 and check the wiring for cracks or breaks. A second possibility would be a defect in the turn signal switch. I would check the socket first with a test lamp.

The first thing I would check is the contacts in the socket. Make sure there is no corrosion present and then probe the contacts in the plug with an electrical tester. If the socket has loosened, There will not be proper connection with the bulb contacts.

Fuse for turn signal

The fuse for the signal lights controls both lights. If the fuse is blown none of the signal lights will work. If the left front/rear signal is not working or is flashing fast suspect a defective bulb

Left rear turn signal does't work but blinker in car blinks rapidly, front left turn signal does work

Sounds like a burnt out bulb, that fast blink is to tell you a bulb needs replaced.

2002 Toyota Echo: Left turn signal in front blinks very fast, however; the rear does not light up. I have replaced the bulb, inspected the fuse box - no burned fuses. What should I try next?

If the left turn signal blinks fast and the rear one does not light up (working in a dealership i see this All the time) almost always it is dew to one of the other bulbs that is burned out. in your case the LF one works fast and the LR one is out. You say you already replaced the bulb- but i would recheck that area again-make sure the bulb you installed was the correct one- it should most likely be a 3157 or 1157 bulb- but i dont know off hand it may be a 3156 or a 1156 bulb. If it is the right bulb make sure it is not blown itself.- make sure you did not accidently install the bulb backwards. finally check the socket- make sure it is free from corrosion and make sure the metal is making contact with the bulb. I hope this works. check if there is power ond ground going to the socket if not with a test light to make sure you dont have a broken wire. This failure will not be caused by a blown fuse.

How to change the turn signal flasher?

Check the the bulbs at the front and rear of the vehicle work. If one is not lit up, replace that one. On some of the earlier model cars the blinkers would stay solid and not flash when one or both bulbs were blown. Modern cars have a rapid flash when one or both are blown

2001 Explorer Sport ,Rear Driver Brake Light and Turn Sig. Broke

Rear lights are double filament bulbs one side for the lights other side for the brake/turn signals so it still may be a bulb. Do u have a test light or volt meter you can check to make sure u have power there when brakes or turn signals are activated. Or just try another bulb.
