Question about 1990 Nissan Pathfinder
To adjust the handbrake, or emergency brake, you will need to adjust your rear brake shoes. This can be done with a brake spoon. Chock the front wheels, jack the rear of the vehicle up, and on the back side of the wheel/tire/drum assembly, you will see at the top a rubber stopper, remove it, and then you will be able to use the brake spoon to adjust the brakes. Take note that you should adjust the brakes until the back tire will bearly rotate/spin freely.
