This would depend on which engine you have. You can find the specs and all fill amounts on page 203 of the owners manual if you have it.
A Four-Speed takes up to 3.1 L A Three Speed takes up to 2.5 L

Mechanic was to do a transmission flush on my car. After this alleged service the mechanic told me that I had a transmission shift solenoid problem on my 2009 Toyota Corolla and that my car should be towed...

I can not comment from a legal standpoint, but yes it does sound like a scam. Normally a flush and fill involves pumping the fluid out of the dipstick tube, or removing the oil pan.

1998 toyota corolla transmission heats up and quits

From my experience with transmissions your clutches are going out. If i am correct it run fine and even shifts good until it get hot correct? Check your trans strainer and inspect for dirty sludge in strainer if so that is residue from your clutches if not change fluid and strainer and see what happens.

I took the car in for an oil change and they told me it need a transmission flush, the fluid was terrible and burnt looking and needed an upper in take clean. The car has 120,000 miles on it, but we aren't...

Based on your description of the color and amount of miles on the car, I'd say do it. The flush will purge all the old fluid in your valve body too, that wouldn't simply drain out when they drain the fluid. It might make your car happy :o)
Hey... I love my '03 Toyota Corolla with 151k miles.
Hope this helps...

2005 toyota corolla s transmission fluid

The cleaning is by flushing. DO NOT LET THEM FLUSH YOUR TRANNY! It will do nothing but damage the tranny.

For as fluid. the 3.2 quarts is if you dont drain the torque converter. If you drain the converter then it will take about 14 to 16 quarts.

The reason i say do not let them flush the tranny is because they force the fluid backwards through the system and that will damage it. Also if the tranny is almost on its last "leg" and you may not know it. Then all that will do is speed the process up.

Transmission fluid change

It differs with use but for a rule of thumb you can look at the fluid on the dipstick against a white cloth and if it brown to black looking not a reddish color you should have it serviced.Either a drain and fill or a complete trans flush if it is black.Your trans will thank you
