Question about Kia Sorento LX
You need a adapter for the flashing lights left and right as well the brake lights are seperate along with parking lights for the electric brakes you have to run a power direct to battery with circuit breaker installed on the line but if you look under the bumper near the drivers side in the back you have a connector installed by the company and you might be able to use it if that is what you did then you have to check the fuses because everthing is installed except the fuse for the connector so if thats what you did check the fuse box for missing fuses or burnt so green wire for right, white ground ,brown parking, yellow left the brake lights go through the adapter so check it out

Check the plug at the back of the truck for corrosion. The brown wire entering the truck plug should be the the running lights, if no juice at truck plug in, you need to trace it back to the source looking for broken, pinched, wires, or poor connections.

Well you have what is called a BUGGER.5 dont go into 4 so the problem is either the trailer is OLD and never had stop lights OR the white wire is your stop lights and it earths through the towball (but it shouldent ) so either someone has cut out the stop light wire .so check rear lights What colour is stoplight wire. As all DC wiring for trailers are 5or 7 core wires 5 for trailers and 7 for caravans..
Let me know how you get on Ron

A test light checking each connector would be faster and easier to do. Maybe somebody may have a illustration for you but by far a simple test light is all you need with a helper turning on the different lights as you check them out and writing all your findings down
