It certainly is. You may also have a faulty shock absorber(s).

My vehicle has 120,000 miles. Now I am getting a front shimmy at low speed, 20-30 mph. Possible problems?

Could be several things, including a bad tire or bent rim.
A shimmy usually starts after you hit a bump, which would point to a loose tie rod end or ball joint instead of the tire/rim.

92 chevy c1500 shakes when braking or hits a bump

Thats called a shimmy. And you have shocks instead of struts.
Chances are you have a ball joint or tie rod end about to fail. Something is very loose in the front steering or suspension. I'd put money on it being a ball joint.

Jack up the wheel and see if it has play up and down and left and right. Have someone watch inboard as you move it. A bad cluck will usually show itself.

My car slid side ways into a ditch.the right front tire was pushed bvack against the fender and you can't drive it because it because it like bump bump bump.whats an average cost of getting it fixed?

it may need a lower control arm at the least which could cost approx in $300 range parts and labor. Afterwards you also would want a wheel alighnment which cost approx $65. If you have more problems it could run into bad axle, tie rods, rim, tire and sway bar end links.

Bad shocks will cause the front jump around. Also check the tires for uneven wear.
The entire front end should be looked over if the shocks are bad you may also have other parts worn as well.

Terrible rear end rattle

It's probably the rear sway bar links. If you can jack your car up and check right behind both rear wheels you will be abale to see the sway bar which is connected to short links about 5in long with ball joints.

If either of them are broken or not connected anymore it can cause some pretty loud noises when you ride on rough roads or hit bumps. They run about $35 per link so it's not a very expensive repair.
