Not without seeing it, but...
Coil pack are common on those. If you have the in-line 6 cylinder, it would be the front cylinder. While idling, unplug the harness for the coil pack on #1, if you have no change in the way it runs, your problem is in that cylinder. Try another to see the difference, as it should stall. I have "swapped" them around to verify the issue.

Replaced the MAF sensor - nothing. Took it to a authorized toyota shop & checked compression which check out good and put the computer on. Computer read mis-fire on cylinder 1, and then multiple misfire (like it would jump around). We went ahead and replaced the fuel injector on cylnder 1 - did not solve problem as when we hook the computer up, misfire seemed tp stay at idle and seem better when running high RMP, but check engine light is on as it never went away. Went ahead and replaced the coil pack to cylinder 1 - nothing. what am i missing?

You've done all the right things, so piston rings or leaky valve is out of the mix now. Now back to the simple stuff. Change your spark plugs to A/C Delco 41-103 if you haven't already. Don't try and gap them, the iridium will come off and possilbe cause a misfire. Try switching coil packs with another cylinder, possible the new coil is faulty, or the wiring isn't quite perfect. Finally.....That #1 cylinder is a PITA to get seated correctly because of the harness right there. Chances are, it's just not seated correctly. Keep at it, you'll nail it down to one of these.

{: ) It is the engine control module that gives signals to ignition coils . Visually inspect the wirings for the #1 cylinder. But I still suggest that your vehicle be thoroughly scanned to monitor the different parameters and data present on your vehicle.

My 2003 chevy trailblazer is getting a po301 code and i'm wondering if you can tell me where the number 1 cylinder is?

Very first one in the front of the engine. Cheapest way to fix this is to replace your spark plugs first. Use AC Delco 41-103, a little more than off brands, but will idle better than any other plug. If this doesn't work, replace the coil pack on cylinder 1. One of these will fix the problem. Also, check the wires that coil plugs into, if all else fails.

Idle problem on a 2006 chevy trailblazer 4.2

The code indicates an issue with the Throttle Actuator control. This is a little motor on the throttle body that opens the throttle plates at idle. That control motor may be bad and thus, causing a low idle.

I hope this helps.
