Question about Jeep Cherokee
You need to take a look to all the connections you disconnected to get the old transmission down. It seems like you have of forgotten to connect something back on. Look for grounds specifically or make sure the neutral-parking switch is installed properly and that both of the electric harness on it are connected to it firmly. If those wires are lose or making a poor connection the car won't start. Another thing you need to look at is to make sure you didn't damage the neutral switch itself wen you took it off the old tranny. Sometimes it happens to get cracked or get some type of damage since they get really attached to the tranny due to the time and dirty around it.
Good luck nd I hope this can hel you.
