I need to know how to get the serpentine belt off. I need to replace the serpentine belt and the pulley. It is a 1992 Buick Century Custom V6.

must have a adjuster on it somewhere i would have thought ,but as iam in spain and never worked on one i have no idea where it is ,as its an old car the adjuster is most likely on the alternator or the power steering

Wat does the serpentine belt go around to helmak the motor turn

The engine's operation moves the serpentine belt, not the other way around. The serpentine belt uses engine power to operate the power steering pump, the air conditioning compressor, the alternator.

My serpentine belt broke, because the pulley where my ac is broke. There is a small metal guard on the outside of the pulley that went bad first, then the whole pulley itself went bad.

most likley the bearing in the ac clutch went out . on that year of a car you may be able to find a used ac compressor . you can change the ac clutch but there is some special tools you will need for that . u may be able to get from autozones loan a tool program

Buick Century 2001, need serpentine belt diagram

You should have a diagram of your serpentine belt routing located under the hood somewhere. The OEM usually places them near the top of the radiator.
