there is a separate motor for up/down and another for left/right adjust. The glass is serviceable but not the motors, built into the frame of the mirror body.

How do i replace the passenger side mirror?

Usually you need to take the door panel off to get access to the nuts that hold the mirror on. Once you get the panel off they are right there behind the mirror. You may not have to take the panel completely off, but it is usually easier to take off all the way. There are usually 3 nuts that hold it on. The wires harness will unplug, if you have heated mirrors or a blinker in the mirror.
Hope that helps!

How to replace just the glass on my side mirror

Go to any glass shop, they'll cut a new mirror and glue it on top of the old one. Much cheaper than replacing the whole unit (hundreds).

Eddie Bauer mirror replacements

is it an aero mirror with no arms?
Or a trailer tow mirror with arms?
The glass is repalceable. It is mounted on a center post with a ball on it. The mirror has a socket on the back center.
It also has 2 jack srews (plastic) that go into the tiny motors that move the mirror. You can push and pull on the glass and they will retchet, it won't hurt them.

You have to pop the mirror off the ball.

It helps to heat the socket with a hair dryer to put the new one on.
Please rate as fixya if this solves your problem.

Eddie Bauer drivers side directional signal in mirror not working

you can call around to a good salvage yard to see if they would take the mirrors off the doors or check with a dealer and see how much it would cost to have just the leds repair or replace in your mirrors also here is a place that sells truck & van parts and the website is www.truckandvan.com and the toll free # is 866-272-8407 and maybe they can help you also try a place that sell after market parts as well.

Side Mirrors will adjust side to side but not up and down.

There are two tiny motors in each mirror. one for up/down. One for side to side. They have jack screws (plastic) that fit into the motors.

You can manually put your hands on either side of the mirror and force adjust it. If you hear a ratcheting sound, the jack screws are OK. Then repeat with hands on top and bottom.

If you hear ratcheting and mirror stays where you stop it, that means one of the motors is bad. The motor assembly is available as a separate part.
