How much freon goes in a 2000 nissan maxima my proble, is when my car is sitting still my compressor cuts off when i start back moving it start back blowing

As for how much freon, you'll get the coldest air letting them "pump" it to a pure "vacuum" and then fill it will 100% Freon (you never want to "top it off" ...which many do and somehow get away with it). I don't understand what you mean about the A/C compressor though. If it IS misbehaving most likely the sensor that tells it to pop on and off is likely worn out. (I don't have my Nissan info handy so that's as far as I can take you anyway!) :=) Good luck.

How do you add freon to a 1996 nissan maxima?

It is the same as with any other car. The freon must be added through the low side service port. If the freon is low, it means that there is a leak. It is recommended that you find and fix the leak before charging the system with more freon that will just leak back out.

Need capacity of freon on 2002 nissan maxima replacing air conditioner

This is all available at the dealer by taking down the VIN# - call the dealer and also while on the phone ask about RECALLS and Service Bulletins - this will save you a bundle over the years and maybe right now.
for argument sake a total of 3 lbs is usually a decent rule of thum. Remember - too much is worse than too little.

How long should the freon last when you first purchase the 2005 Nissan Maxima?

freon doesnt wear out. As long as there are no leaks in the system your fine.

I am working on a 2000 nissan maxima and i have replaced the compressor and refilled the freon and oil and the presure relief valve keeps poping open with only one can of freon instaled it seems likethere...

Sometimes there are plugs in the compressor when shipped. Make sure that there is nothing in the compressor where the line attach. How much oil did you put in the system. Compressor are shipped with oil in them. The correct way to measure would be to drain the oil compressor and measure that amount. Then drain the new compressor and compare the amounts. Put NEW oil in the new compressor. Remember the compressor can not compress liquids. It is possible that there is too much oil in the compressor.

Ac blows hot air

Before doing anything I would have the freon level in your AC system checked, freon leaks are quite common and easily repairable by a specialist.

2000 maxima is filled with R134, not freon. You don't need retro fit kit. Get couple of cans of R134 and pump it into the low side valve /small fiting, while A/C compressor is engaged. If your compressor is not coming on, jump the low side pressure switch to make the compressor come on and than the R134 will get sucked in to your system through the low side line. The proper way to do this is to put a/c system under vaccum for 15 minutes at least and watch for leak/gauges coming/loosing vaccum. Than pump R134 into the HIGH side valve with engine OFF.
