Question about 2005 Ford Focus

Hi i have a 2004 ford mondeo tdci which runs for a few minutes then cuts out, it struggles to start and doesn't come up which any error codes. can anybody help please

Had the same problem with a 56 reg 2.0 tdci it was the egr valve.

No pulse? Is the engine running? How are you measureing pulse? If the engine is running there is a pulse, if it's not running, there won't be a pulse. If TDCI is correct this is a turbodiesel

the flashing orange light is the glowplug light that telling you there is a engine managment problem. you need to get the fault code out of the engine control module with a obd code reader to determine the cause but the common cause of the flashing glow plug warning is a air leak after the turbo charger

Ford Mondeo tdci fault code says speed sensor causing loss of power?


replace the speed sensor and rerun the fault codes as this unit may be restricting the engine operation and put it in limp mode.

ford only on the newer models ,software readers like scansoft or digisoft will not touch it if its a europeon model ,dont know about cars sold in america weither its the same coded software or not
