How do I change the white backup lights on my 94 chevy suburban? It's not in my manual. Thanks

Open the gate or doors, and there are a couple screws on the interior side of the brake light housings. By the way, my old 94 burb had a problem where i had to HOLD the shift lever up when in reverse for the back up light switch to turn on... could be that too

1995 Cheverolet suburban 4x4 will not go in reverse, but every thing else works fine why ?

It could be clutch bands, solenoids, or gears. try some tranx it takes care of some problems with trannys, not all. it's a cheap fix before a rebuild.

1995 chevy suburban wont go in reverse

One of the bands or clutch packs are burned out in the transmission. Or that piston could have a blown or ripped seal.
That vehicle has a 4L60E transmission I am fairly sure. If it is a 1 ton it may have the 4L80E. If you really want to know I could probably check my books and tell you exactly which clutch pack.
I should think you would have other symptoms though as well like first gear going straight to second or some such thing.
This is all assuming it is an automatic. If it is a manual stick transmission then you still have a transmission problem. Would need more information to track down what exactly. Things like noises and circumstances. for instance the shifter goes into the reverse spot but
nothing more then a funny noise. OR the shifter wont even go into the reverse position.

if you have checked fuse for them then its the brake switch. Look on the pedal arm under dash you'll see the switch.

1995 suburban auto two wheel drive v8 I need some instructions on replacement of AC/heater Blower Motor assembly

lower passenger panel below the dash. You need a 7 mm socket to remove the 4-5 tech screws holding it in place. Next disconnect the 2 wires. rotoate the fan as necessary to get it out. Don't forget to remove the hose attached to the housing. Replacement is the reverse of removal. Make to cleam the ground well.

Suburban 4 hign does not work but 4 lo does

I have had maybe 9 Suburbans, over the years. Whenever I put in 4WD (whether Lo or Hi), I drive
normally. THEN, when DISENGAGING, I always drive the vehicle in REVERSE maybe 75 yards
AFTER placing in 2WD mode. Sometimes, still, on my '96 Suburban, --- even though the manual says NOT REQUIRED, it will "stick" in 4WD, UNLESS I take above action. Hope this might help.
