I bought them over a year ago and i am just ready to put them on. However lets start over. lets agree that i would need to remove the seats to take off the covers that came with the truck so my 1st question is how do i do that. 2nd question is how do i then take off the covers that originally came with the truck.

This job need a semi skill of a upholstery maker. You will need to remove the front seats in the first place.
Ideally having them out is the best option for a good job.
Now remove all the clips and ties of the cover to the underside of the frame. Once the covers are taken out the condition of the seat pads/cushions can be seen. If these are out of alignment or in disarray then you will need to rearrange them.
Make sure that the cushions are good or else you will need to reset a new layer to give the best shape to the new covers.
Once the inner cushions are arranged and tied then you can start by sliding over the covers on the seat. Get help to pull them equally so that there are no stretch marks or crinkle on the covers.
Now keeping the covers fully stretched you must tag them to the base of the frame. Repeat the procedure all around till there are no wrinkles on the covers. If the wrinkles are present press and pull the cover to stretch so that they are tied.
I am sure you will be able to get this perfectly right with the repeated try.

Depending where you purchased the new covers they should have come with instructions. If not then you could call them and ask about the procedure to replace them.

If you have never done this before and it is a good set, I strongly recommend you take it to an shop that does auto interiors as it is a difficult job without tools or the knowledge on how to do this properly.

removing the seats is actually pretty self-evident-they are bolted to tracks, so you unbolt the tracks from the floor and disconnect the harnesses that operate the functions of the power seats. It is a very physical job since you are working low and the nuts are difficult to get to, but you can move the seat up and back/forth to gain better access to them. It's really just grunt work, and I have done it numerous times on nunerous different cars, and can honestly say it was NEVER fun.

I need to know what bolts to remove in order to remove the seats from a cadillac escalade ext

Hello: First remove the plastic covers at the front and rear of the seat tracks (do it carefully so you don't break them) then remove the bolts in the rear (move the seat all the way forward) one on each side. It will either be a 15mm bolt head or a torx head bolt depending on what year truck (don't remember what size torx) after removing rear bolts, move seat all the way forward disconnect ALL electrical connectors, tilt seat forward to disconnect hooks in seat rail and you should beable to remove seat. On some tear models you may have to disconnect the seat belt.

2002 cadillac escalade service ride control light

This happened to my 2002 EXT and two of my buddies Escalades. All 3 were AWD. All we did was replace the Front Hubs. I replaced both Front hubs and the speed sensors. Actually I replaced the speed sensors first because thats what code was coming up, and it didn't fix the problem. So after talking with a freind who is a big time GM Mechanic, he told me it's probably my barrings and since they are sealed I needed to replace the hubs. This is an easy job. I did them myself, and I am by no means a "mechanic".
