Don't think you will be doing that in your driveway,
unless you have a week with nothing to do

Have you seen what has to come apart

Look at some You Tube Video

Nissan Almera wont start with code P0345

Why would anyone replace those parts?

I guess the car was never tested to find any problems

No more to say

Common sense-- tells you that not all those
parts failed at one time or any at all

I have a 94 Japanese built Nissan Cefiro with a VQ25DE motor that needs the main timing chain replaced. Is the timing chain kit for the VQ30DE compatible?

talk with the Nissan spares and see if there are different part numbers for the chains. If the part numbers are the same then it would be the same chain. You may get tis information from the web . look for timing chains for one motor then the other and if they are the same numbers then the chains will be the same.

How to replace a nissan almera timing chain

Hi all it is with out doubt a major blunder by Nissan to fit a Renault timing chain mechanism to the almera and other Nissan engines. I have dealt with many a customer with an engine light on hoping that a crankshaft sensor would sort the issue out, Nissan will charge in excess of 750 euro to replace the timing kit and having it replaced you might hope to get 120k from the car well I have come across engines only covering 30k buyer chain failure, beware if you are doing a chain replacement your self use (oe) parts often spurious parts don't have the paint marks on the chain to aid setting the timing ,

I need to replace the timing CHAIN on a 1995 ford FALCON EF how much will it cost for the kit

The 95 Ford Falcon was a vehicle not available in the states however, Ford still used engines found in Ford explorers. If you are repairing this State-Side, go to your local auto parts store, and have them get a timing chain kit for a 95 Ford Explorer. The entire Kit will run you close to $20 USD. This is strictly for the chain itself. Usually if you are digging in this deep, you will want to replace the water pump, belts, and change oil. This of course adds to the price.

Does a 2002 caliver with a 2.2 engine have a timming belt or does it have a chain

It has a chain. Or it actually has two chains. One is for the cam, and is the timing chain. And the other chain goes to the balance shaft. Many parts suppliers offer timing kits with the chain, and tensioners. These allow you to change all the necessary parts if you need to do a timing chain replacement.

Needs a new timing chain

If it is a chain, just ask for a timing chain kit,it will have everything in it to do the job, except for the gasket,if it is a timing belt, just the belt is all you need, either way,it is good to replace the water pump while you are there also.
