Question about BMW L7

1 Answer

I have a 1987 bmw L7 and none of my power windows work. I checked the fuses and they are all fine for the windows. I noticed in the diagram that there is a 25 amp fuse for the poer windows but i can not find it on the car. Any help on this one?

I have a 530i 2003 bmw. The rear windows and locks do not work, the front door windows and locks do work fine. We checked all fuses.

Rear Fuses ? If not....Pull out the rear seat bottom and check fuses there.

Windows are controlled by a module which may have failed. Only way to check is with a scanner for BMW.

I need a fuse panel diagram for a 1987 bmw 325i

your car has double squirrel cage fan.  Odds are it is not the fuse.  The brushes wear out in motor  and it does not make contact causing it not to work.  Try this.  Open hood on firewall behind intake(aluminum part where it says bmw) the fire wall has bolts in it. The fan access is behind there.  First i would try hitting that area a hammer to try to bounce the contacts of the blower motor.  Do this while the fan is in the on position.  If that does not work remove the screws and the fan is behind there.  There is a resistor and a motor behind there.  A giant clip holds it in.  You have to be inclined to change it
