Question about 2007 Mini Cooper S Convertible
This tends to indicate a failed switch/sensor in the roof system. The car uses a number of sensors to monitor the position of the roof as it opens and closes, and when one of them fails, the roof will not function. Unfortunately there is no way to guess which switch may have failed without the use of proper diagnostic equipment. The good news is it should not be an expensive fix once the offending switch is identified.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
