Jeep idles high always wants to just go. When in park idles really high. put new tbi checked vaccum hoses seem to be fine

U have a huge vacuum leak somewere spray carb cleaner around the intake system. Double check to make sure no vacuum lines came off.

You don't, unless it's ridiculously high, like over 1750 rmp. Most cars will idle higher in drive then they do in park. The next time you get caught at a light put it in park and let it sit, it may go higher at first but most lower below what it was idling.
