Question about Ford F-150
The ignition timing is controlled by the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) and cannot be manually adjusted. The valve timing is a function of the timing chain and sprockets, again normally this has a fixed value. If the timing chain has stretched out of spec this could cause the timing to be off, typically it would be a minor deviation though.
