Question about Chevrolet 1500
Hello Wild Mike.
Usually this problem is broken wires where they bend out of the shifter.
You will need to access the two wires and repair them.
GM would like to sell you the whole shifter but we have repaired several in our shop with good success.
The wires are small and a fine touch with a good soldering gun with some shrink tube will make it right.
