When this occurs, I would recommend that you check the fuse for the alternator, it is probably faulty.

Galant wont start

Interesting, this sounds just like no output from the alternator. If the alternator is good then it has to be the cabling or connections to the battery. If you have a multimeter take a reading on the cabling then read what is actually reaching the battery posts.

If your battery light is on it means your battery is not charging fully. It could be your battery cables are loose and/or corroded at the battery, your battery is going bad or your alternator is failing. If cleaning the cable ends does not help, most part stores can hook up a load tester for free, and tell you if it's a bad battery or your alternator not working.

New battery. abs, battery and service engine lights come on. all headlights and tails flicker and car dies and wont start. jump it let it warm up and doesnt do it for awhile. then at some point it does it...

These are all signs of a bad alternator. The car is running off of only the battery. The alternator charges the battery and keeps the car running. When the alternator quits charging the car will run fine until the battery dies. Then you can jump the battery and charge it, and the car will run fine until all of the electronics and lights run the battery down again.

The battery light was coming off/on..then all the inside lights dimmed then the car died out and anti lock was coming on and not letting me change gears

The alternator is most likely faulty. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. connect jumper cables to the positive post and the Engine frame. Start the vehicle. If the vehicle starts, disconnect the negative jumper cable. If the vehicle dies, and most likely will, remove the alternator and take it to Auto Zone and have it tested. If the vehicle doesn't die out, replace the battery.

I get three beeps, car dies toally.

have you checked your ground wires under your battery? also possible that your alternator is not putting out enough. check ground cable from battery to alternator. see if that is warm as well if your larger cables have corrosion built up in them this will cause your concern as well. does your immobilizer little key and car light flash at you?do you have a remote key does it flip partially closed when you start the car? that could cause it to think it is being stolen.
