Stop by any good local parts store and have them do a fault scan. Scan will identify what triggered light. Most parts stores do this FREE

Check engine light 2007 dodge grand caravan

Most common problem is a loose or defective gas cap. If it is not tightened properly it can set a code.
Once you tighten or replace the cap, the light should go out after about 100 miles of driving.
You can check engine codes using a free loaner scanner at Autozone parts store, etc.

Good luck, Gary

I have the P0456 on my dodge caravan sxt 2007 with the keys.

This is usually caused by a gas cap that was not put on properly after a fill up. If this is the case then simply tighten the gas cap and the check engine light should go out in a few days with regular driving or reset with a code reader. You may have to replace the gas cap if the code remains. be sure to get the correct cap.

Check the link above for further tests.

Find a local AutoZone parts store, or similar Auto parts store, where they will check the computor codes FOR FREE to point to the problem causing the light.

On-off with ignition 3 times and you will get error code in odometer. Check the code from the internet gods, it will tell you. Probably small evaporation leak detected from loose gascap. Try removing ground from battery for 10 min, then replace. It should go away. If comes back, something more serious perhaps.

03 dodge durando w 4.7l w a p0440 engine code

first thing, disconnect your battery and clear the code. before restarting check and make sure the gas cap is tight, should click at the least 3 times. if the light comes back on check the rubber lines that connect to the filler tube and make sure they aren't dry rotted and cracking. if their are no visible issues with the lines then it is a possibility the evap canister is bad. best bet is to take it to a shop or dealer and let them run a smoke test on the system, only after you check the gas cap.

"Service enging soon" light stays on....

This could be a number of things causing this ...most common is that after you fill up the gas cap is not fully tightened...make sure it "clicks" 3 times while turning. The other common problem is that the gasket on the gas cap is old and thus does not seal the tank/fuel filler area...check with replacing the cap.If neither correct then you will need to bring to a service center or dealer to run a code check...maybe a bad O2 sensor or a code for the transmission.
