The factory tach wires directly to the ignition module so if not working check the connections

How do i connect a wrangler speedometer to a turbo 350 transmission

Your factory tach won't be accurate because a 350 is an 8 cylinder engine. I put a 350 into a Vega, and my speedo was slightly off because of the differences between the ratios as well. I recommend looking for an aftermarket adapter, or a kit if you can't get the cable to connect into the tranny.

How do I wire up.1970 chevelle SS with factory tach

The tach runs off the coil voltage. One of the tach wires would go to the neg side of the coil, I think.
You may need to look for a shop manual to get the wiring diagram.
Car clubs would be a good place to start.

My tachometer un hooked and i cant find where to plug it in .... 1991 eclipse gsx thank you

your tach is part of the instrument cluster and if it is not working then you might have a problem with the wiring harness... this will require more detailed assistance than that can be provided for free

if however, you are talking about installing an aftermarket tach, then follow the instructions that came with the tach

Wire my stewart-warner tach into a CHEV HEI ignition

Most HEI dist are labeled on the coil cover where the module/ power plugs in on the side of the cap It should be the only unused space there , unless you had a factory tach. You will need a plain female spade on you tach input wire and it should plug right in

My tachometer does not work.

Look on the back when you have it out, are the 1 or 2 little "burnt" spots? Get some solder, flux and a solder iron, and put a tiny bit of each on the burnt spot(s).

the motor is "sealed" by the factory... you need a special tool.... it does beg the question. it sounds like you are trying to remove the whole oil pan. why ??

There should be a drain plug that you can unscrew to change the oil.

98 civic lx where is ignition coil?? ++

IT'S A BLUE WIRE ON THE BACK OF THE CONNECTOR THAT WOULD NORMALLY GO TO THE FACTORY TACHOMETER IN THE DASH. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE DASH GAUGE CLUSTER TO GET AT THE CONNECTOR. THE CONNECTOR WILL NOT BE PLUGGED INTO ANYTHING IF YOU DON'T HAVE A FACTORY TACHOMETER (DX, CX, HX ETC...YOU WILL HAVE TO SPLICE INTO OR CUT THE BLUE WIRE FROM THE PLUG. IT GOES TO TACH SIGNAL WIRE ON YOUR NEW TACH.
