Question about 2000 Ford Taurus
STARTER......they r good for this problem.....i had the same problem for 3 weeks and replaced the battery, which did not fix it.....it clicks, but wont crank???? the bendix in the starter is bad..the starter will cost about 140-190 dollars

First, check all the fuses with a test light to see if any are blown. If all fuses are good, remove the center console part the houses the HVAC controls and radio. Once removed, check for loose connection or any unplugged connectors. If all that checks out, the problem may be the control panel itself. These are problematic and prone to fail.
