Sounds like a frost plug not a cracked block from your description. No, motor dies not have to come our, but you have to undo motor mount, raise block slightly and support and pound out & in new first plug.

I WANT TO PUT A 1985 5.8 HO FROM A F250. INTO A 1999 F150 5.4. WILL THIS BE A DIRECT SWAP? MOTOR MOUNTS, TRANNY, ETC. I UNDERSTAND I WILL HAVE TO USE THE 5.4 INTAKE, PULLIES, AND FUEL RAILS ETC.

check with an auto parts store to see if both engines/vehicles use the same front end gasket/seal and/or motor mounts. im for real- just have autozone or whoever look up the part numbers for the mounts and fronnt end gasket/seal for both vehicles, and if they match, then it should be a go.

the front end gasket/seal is locaded between the engine and tranny, and if both models/engines use the same gasket/seal, then the trannys will match up perfectly.

Aircondition blower how to take out and replace?

On the 91-99 the blower motor is mounted fan side up motor side down directly above the front passenger's feet. I assume the 01 S is the same. Fan motor sticks out with 3 or 4 vertical screws holding it into the airbox. Disconnect the wires, unscrew the old one, stick a vacuum in and clean out what you can, then put the new one in reverse order.

My a/c compressor clutch on a 1991 cevy beretta 3.1 is bad i cannot afford to fix it. can i replace belt with one from a non a/c vehicle?

most likely yes. I did it on a 91 grand am no problem.
The longer original belt went around the motor mount so I had to remove the motor mount , but the shorter belt ( non ac ) does not go around motor mount , so I would sugest just cut the old belt off instead of having to mess with the motor mount.

Water pump replacement

the water pump should be located front right of motor the only thing that may take some time is if the belt needs to be replaced some models require you remove part of the engine mount. Job should take a pump / belt if damaged / antifreeze.

Oil pressure

Actually, the problem sounds more like a blown head gasket (or head) dumping oil into the cylinders. That would explain why it loses power. If you are certain that you need the oil pump changed, you do have to hoist the whole engine out of the compartment. This is because the "front" bolts on the oil pan are directly under the timing chain cover, which can only be removed once the engine mount is taken off. My pump recently went out, and sans hoist I was relegated to using a mechanic to do the job - for a painful $1,000.

If the issue is the head gasket, however, it should be much easier. For that, you can put a jack under the crankcase, and take the engine mounts and timing chain cover out. From there, you should be able to easily disassemble the whole engine working from the top downward, without any trouble.
