Question about Lincoln Mark VI
Chilton lists 2 firing orders for a 302 in that year. The regular 302, which is probably what you have, is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8. The other firing order is for a 302 HO. If you have this it will likely be marked on the breather. That firing order is1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. Standing at the front of the car #1 plug is at 1 o'clock on the distributor. 1-2-3-4 is passenger's side front to back and 5-6-7-8 is driver's side for both as well. Hope this helps.
