Direct wiring of the fan is not a good idea. The fan will not cycle and it could burn the fan up. It would be best to get another harness from the auto parts store or from a salvage yard. The auto parts store should have a diagram to wire in the harness or you can see how the harness wires in by looking at another vehicle. If you are going to direct wire the system, be sure to put in an inline fuse on the hot wire.

I can start my 1999 crown Victoria with spark plug #1 disconnected but, if I connect it, it will shut off and will blow the fuse

A bad plug boot or coil is shorted bend the boot back and forth it will show a crack or even break if it's to brittle if not that coil or the wire or plug is dhorted out look at the wire for torn insulation making contact to ground if not coils bad and maybe cracked letting the positive voltage escape to ground and blowing the fuse try to check it in the dark while someone cranks the engine the voltage leak will be seen as a spark

check your vlcm-variable load control module, located in front of the radiator (has fins, and has a large harness attached to it)-the harness may need to be tightened or the module itself may be bad-before to replace it swap relays for the AC with the ABS to see if it is just a bad relay.

Need help finding the ignition module on a 97 ford crown victoria

There is no ignition module. The ignition coils are controlled directly by the Powertrain control module (computer) located inside the vehicle above the drivers left foot and connected to the engine wiring harness thru the firewall

Battery not charging, new alternator, checked connections, checked fuses, alternator harness was melted at the end where it plugs into the main harness

A melted plug typically means a loose connection. Maybe one of the pins in the connector got loose and the poor connection created heat. If there are only a couple of wires to the plug and harness I would cut out the plugs and use good solderless connectors to repair. I wil be a lot less expensive than a new harness. If it is just damage to the plug going to the alt you can get replacements for them.

Radiator fan in my 2003 crown victoria runs continuosly

No, the fan is supposed to come on only at certain temperatures.

Trace the wiring from the fan back, there should be a temp switch/relay in line. If there isn't,then someone has bypassed it and wired the fan to run when the car is running.
