Question about 2006 Pontiac Montana SV6
To access fuse panel you are looking for that holds the lighter fuse open the passenger door and look on the right end of the instrument panel (dash) There is an access panel that just pulls off. Pull it off and there are your fuses.

There are two fuse boxes on the 2005 Pontiac SV6. One is on the passenger side of the dash and the second is located under the hood on top of the battery. The fuse you are looking for is under the hood. Remove the cover by pushing the four tabs two at a time and lifting. The key is under this cover. The fuse you are looking for is 24 (I think).
