Had this same problem, turns out that the exhaust, especially the catalytic converter robs the vehicle of power when it gets plugged. the solution for me was swapping out the old one for a new one. Cost me about $1000. Maybe I was conned and it was something cheaper tell me what your outcome was.

Signs of a clogged fuel filter

Usually a clogged fuel filter will prevent the engine from revving over a certain RPM, say 1500 or 2000. A weak fuel pump or pump relay could cause it to stop running and then restart.
But the fuel system would not affect engine compression.

Van acts like the fuel filter is plugged, and losses power when going up hills

Do you have a fuel pump? If its bad or weak, you aren't getting enough gas to your engine. Has anyone thought of the filter in your gas tank?

1977 Porsche 924 New fuel pump and filter no gas just air.

I would check the fuel lines where they attach to the sending unit. The rubber inside of the nylon weave is probably rotten and sucking air instead of pulling the fuel up and out of the tank.

Jerks and looses power on hills and flat land no engine light comes on what can be wrong?

When you said it feels like its not getting enough gas, you may be right.
Since you have replaced the fuel filter, and you are not getting a check engine light, my suggestion would be to check fuel pressure with a gauge. The fuel pump may be weak.

Low end miss fire and no horsepower

If it really is a miss-fire, you should have a check engine light on and codes for the cylinders.
I would check for that and check the fuel pressure.
You did replace the fuel filter with the pump, right ?

When goin up on hills, when u push the gas sometimes the car seems tto stutter like if it needs gas but i think it needs fuel system cleaning or spark plugs

You seems to be right in judging the fault as it seems that the fuel system is faulty while the car is in an inclination.
So start from your tank, the fuel pump, the filter , the delivery and spark plugs.
Have the entire system cleaned up, do the much needed service for the mileage done..

Possibly your fuel pump is going out. First try replacing the fuel filter and see if you can check the fuel pressure. Pressure should be 9-13 psi but book says you need a special tool to check it. Hopefully the filter is just clogged...

No power when going up hill

when was the last time the truck had a tune up? plugs wires air filter fuel filter and if it has over 40,000 miles a new drivebelt put some STP gas treatment in the gas tank and if this helps the problem replace the fuel filter; the fuel pump is in the gas tank and the fuel filter is underneath the truck normally on the driverside just under the door or the passanger side just in front of the rear tire in the frame
