Hey guys, I have 04 Mazda MPV where #4 coil keeps going bad. Any suggestions why?

A coil goes bad when it's under stress. What causes stress? Wrong spark plug, wrong spark plug gap, improper air/fuel mixture that causing misfires. Any time a spark plug misfires, it can wreck an IGN coil. The spark has to go SOMEWHERE

I have a mazda mpv 2000 minivan.problem code p0301 misfire detected cylinder#1

I'd check #1 spark plug.
Usually a misfire code "fix" is a spark plug, spark plug wire, or a coil pack / distributor.
Keeping it simple...I'd go with the spark plug first and then look at the condition of the wires.

Hope this helps...

I need the tune-up speceifications for a 2000 Mazda MPV

I suggest that you visit the autozone.com website. If you go there and register the car information you will have access to an online repair manual for the car and the information you seek should be available in the specifications section. It doesn't cost anything and it's really a pretty handy resource. Hope this helped and best wishes.
