The tc warning light in the dash board has turned on. What it this indicating?

You would need to reset the warning light and then see if it comes back on, which would indicate a fault still there. Try this procedure

"How do you reset the airbag warning light in a '94 Camry?
A: Clearing the warning light in '92-'96 Camrys by the following procedure:
In the DLC1 or DCL2 (data link connector under the hood, see following diagram)
Use two short wires, one wire at terminal TC and a different wire at terminal AB
With the ignition key ON - wait 6 seconds, then:
Ground terminal TC to good body ground for one second
Then ground terminal AB for one second
Then TC one second
Then AB one second
Then ground TC until the light blinks.
Make sure the interval between grounding terminals is not more than 0.2 sec.
Remove the ground wires
Be very careful to only use the correct terminals."

The car is OK. If you have the traction control (TC) warning pop up it means there is a fault in the traction control system . The traction control on the car will now be disabled.

The most likley cause is a failed or faulty wheel sensor. These are the sensors which detect if a wheel is losing traction and the TC system will apply braking multiple times to slow the wheel speed to retain grip.

It is a good safety feature but you can still drive your car around without the TC system operating. There should be a TC switch on your model to turn the TC on and off manually. When switched off manually, a TC off message should pop up on the dash.

i did this and found that the fuse for the lights were blown look in your manual to see where the fuse is and replace it

Purpose

Check Engine Light

Brake Lights
Almost all cars have two separate lights for the braking system: a red "ABS" (anti-lock braking system) light and "Brake Warning" light. The former indicates failure of the electronic anti-lock system, the latter a loss of fluid pressure in the brake system itself.


Dynamic Warnings
Many modern cars have traction or stability control systems that prevent and notify the driver of tire slippage. These lights can come in the form of amber "SLIP," "TC," or "TRACTION" lights (for spinning tires), or "ESC" (electronic stability control) lights for a sliding vehicle.


Safety Lights
Most cars have a diagrammatic warning that indicates a door that isn't all the way closed, a seat-belt warning light, and an "airbag disabled/enabled" light. Any or all of these will be red or amber.

You need to replace the bulb with the exact same one. If you use 2 different bulbs it will trigger the warning light because of the difference in resistance.

its most likely the traction control warning that the wheels had spun and power was briefly reduced to stop wheelspin. there should be a switch on the dash centre panel with TC or ASR if you press this switch it will put the triangle light on constantly until pressed again. this disables the system so be careful as wheelspin will be inevitable !! lol

Hi, have you checked to see if the bulb for the parking light/side light is working in the headlight?

Do you mean the traffic indicators,( turn signals) or do you mean the dash board indicator lamps? If it's the dash warning lamp indicators, they work on a fail safe system, when you turn the ignition on before the start position, all the lights will come on untill start up and ten they will go off automatically within a second or two....if they stay on with the engine runnig you have a problem we have not covered here.
That will be your hazard warning switch, the one that will be flashing on the dash with a triangle showing on it....If that doesn't do it it'll be something to do with the anti theft device...get out of the car lock all the doors and then press the button on the key fob
