2007 3.5 dodge Dakota rpm sensor where is it located to replace

Not sure what you mean by rpm sensor. The signal for the tachometer comes from the PCM and is based on signals from the crankshaft position sensor, located on the right rear of the engine where the transmission bolts to the engine, but if this is bad, there are a lot more problems than the tachometer not working. There are two speed sensors on automatic transmissions, an input speed sensor and an output speed sensor. Both are located on the left side of the transmission, the input speed sensor near the front (just behind the bell shaped portion) and the output speed sensor near the rear. In addition to those there are wheel speed sensors for the ABS, located in each wheel area covered by the ABS.

How do I check them? I got some trouble code on 2005 Chrysler 300 3.5L. One of them is P0501. That means Vehicle speed sensor A range/performance. Others are about ABS sensors. Please tell me how do I fix...

Unfortunately the isn't just 1 speed sensor there are 4 one on each tire. Jack up your car one tire at a time, grab the tire on top and bottom and see if you get any movement without moving the car at the same time do the same thing for the front and back of the tire. Your testing for a really bad wheel hub. The speed sensor is located on the hub and the part that it is sensing is located on the axel generally looks like a bike sprocket that should help you locate the sensor. You can text these with a multimeter looking for the resistance. Small variation in reading are ok you will have drastically different numbers between the working and faulty sensors.

Hi Mario, I may be behind times, but believe the sensors you're referring to are the turbine pressure sensors. There are usually two, mounted onto he turbo inter-cooler. Regards John.

Speedo not working renault scenic 2001

This problem may be one of two things, the most common could be a speed sensor, this can be tested with a meter and wheels spinning in drive, the meter connections would be connected to speed sensor connections as wheels spin with car in drive the readings will tell you if sensor is bad, another way would be to replace the sensor and see if that helps.

The other thing would be the speedometer it self, to test this you would need to replace it with a used one or have it tested at a place that deals with speedometer which are not to many around.
I would also check the fuses, all of them and locate the speed sensor on the ****** and make sure the connection is good and that there are no broken wires to it.then replace the speed sensor and then cluster, these are the steps i would take , most times the speed sensor solves this problem. good day
