AC fuse and relay for 2001 Ford Expedition

Pull a relay out and use paper clip to jump. Usually cross corner. Watch compressor clutch and see if engages when key is turn ahead. Don't start car. If it does good. Now take alligator clips and check relay. Clip each wire to negative and positive battery post. Then clip negative to negative relay pin. And touch positive to correct pin. If it doesn't click do it another relay so you know your doing it right. If determined relay is good. And your compressor clutch did engage when testing it. You are low on freon.

Where is the compressor fuse for a 2007 dodge 1500?

The 10amp fuse number 16 and the 7.5amp fuse number 1 power the clutch relay.
Your owners manual should have the details.

Ac fuse blowing on 02 Grand Prix tested ac compressor cool and only get 1.4 ohms cold is that good?

Not sure I am following your story. Is it the 10amp clutch fuse number 23 ?
And are you saying the resistance across the clutch plug is 1.4 ohms ? And does the fuse blow as soon as you plug the compressor clutch in ?

The fuse for the A/C compressor (clutch) is located in the power distribution box (fancy name for a fuse box) under the hood of the vehicle in the engine compartment. Below is a diagram of the fuse layout. The fuse that you are asking about id the fuse in the number 13 position and should be a 15 amp fuse. Now the A/C compressor clutch relay is also in that same panel and is the relay located in the number 204 position. This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't and would like a copy, you can email me at with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy of it. Don't worry, no cost for it. I hope this helps and good luck.

I have replaced the air compresor the upper side and lower side switch and the air compresor won't come on what could be the problem

If you don't have pressure the clutch on the compressor will not come on. Have you checked your fuses. The first fuse you can check is the fuse for the A/C compressor clutch itself. That fuse is in the interior fuse panel. It is in the number 23 position and should be a 15 amp fuse (see 1st picture/diagram of fuse layout). If you have the 3.8 liter engine there is also a pressure switch fuse. That fuse is in the power distribution box located in the engine compartment in the number 24 position and should be a 20 amp fuse. i hope this helps and good luck.

Fuse number/location for air conditioning compressor 2000 beetle

View the attached website to see if your problem is in the fuse block that is under the hood immediately on top of the car's battery.

Also, the car's blower motor/climate control is controlled by the 25 amp fuse No. 25 in the fuse block located at the end of your dashboard.
