Question about 2007 Honda Odyssey

Open Question

I have a 2007 honda odyssey. The interior dash lights have been going out. I need a list of all interior backlights. So far we have paid the dealer to replace the seat heater light, gearshift light and recirculation light at about $100 each. How can I do this myself? Now my defrost light and hazard lights are out. There are a couple of others, but I am not sure they are supposed to be lit. Also, our horn seems to have bit the dust. I first noticed it when I set the alarm with the key fob. It sounds like a sick animal groan. Is this normal? We have had significant weird things go wrong with this van. I am re-thinking my switch to honda. We used to own a T & C. The only thing we ever did to it was replace the tranny. Any help is appreciated!

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: EGR valve & 3rd gear pressure switch

I highly recommend you buy an aftermarket service manual from Haynes or Chilton.
They are based on a complete tear-down and will not only help you with this problem but will give you an idea if the service shop is being honest about the amount of labor involved.

EGR valves are normally found on the exhaust manifold or header.
This is where they get the gases that are recirculated into the intake.

The other problem I can't comment on but the manual would surely help.

SOURCE: 2007 honda odyssey warning light

That isn't the light for low tire pressure. Low tire pressure will have what looks like a tire- flat. It is your VSA someone probably hit the button and accidentally. look to the left of your steering wheel there is a button that says VSA push it and see if it turns it off. I notice that this post is pretty old, so you may already have gotten the answer from your dealer, but I'm posting in case someone has the same problem later on.

SOURCE: Honda CRV 2002 Power Door lock

try testing or replaceing the drivers door lock actuator, reprogram ur key fobs and try unlocking and locking ur doors. as far as the lights and reminder,....it sounds like a seperate problem. but try the door actuator first (drivers side always act up and cause every other actuator to act up... like a bad kid that gets the rukkus started and ruins things for everyone..

SOURCE: 2002 Honda Odyssey security alarm system

Make sure your hood is shut. I just got my 2002 Honda Odyssey back from the dealer today (90,000 mile check-up - I love my van and will drive it until it dies!) and when I went to lock the van with my remote transmitter, the lights didn't flash and the horn didn't sound. I open and closed all the doors and tailgate and I could hear that the doors were locked, but the security system wasn't working and that is why the lights didn't blink or the horn didn't sound. I walked up to the front of the van to check the hood to make sure it was closed (there isn't an indicator light for an open hood, only open doors) and the hood wasn't shut completely. Once I opened the hood and let it drop to securely shut, I hit the door lock button on the remote and everything worked like a charm! Hope this helps others in this predicament.

The brake light switch is a very common failure on Hondas. The horn is on the same fuse, if it works, the fuse is good.

2007 Honda Odyssey front heater is not working, and the rear works fine

Depends on if the heater is working and the hot air is not going thru the vents, or the heater core is not hot.
Could be a faulty blend door under the dash.

2007 tail light fuse location honda crv

I had this problem with my 2007 Honda CRV -- all the lights worked EXCEPT the tail/running lights and the license plate light. The other tail lights worked -- brake, reverse, indicators, and hazards. Front headlights also worked, but when the headlights went on the back tail lights did not (not to safe for driving at night!!)
The fuse was #15 in the interior fuse box (under the dash driver side) with the label "small exterior lights" ( also check fuse #19 labeled "small lights main"). The cause of my problem, I believe, is a bad or lose wire in my license plate light.
