Head bolt torque yield

90% of head bolts are stretched when installed. If you have the torque settings, you can confirm this by checking the specs. If it says example, 90lbs feet, plus a quarter turn, this confirms they are gonna stretch once torqued.
In any case, yes, change those head bolts at all costs. DO NOT RE-USE THEM. Make sure to torque and in the order as well. do not use a random pattern when torqueing.

Problems installing hitch for Jeep Liberty

A torque wrench measures the amount or torque required to tighten a bolt to spec. Thats not what you need in this case. You need to get a wirebrush and clean off as much rust as possible, then you can try a large ratchet or breakerbar to get your bolts to thread in. If you feel that you will strip or break a bolt then by all means take it to a pro.

Mitsubishi evo6 headbolts

Hi there, make sure you measure your bolts measure 96.4mm for a 4G93 engine.
Then you must tighten 35Nm-75Nm- slacken completely- 20Nm- 90degrees-90degrees.
No retightening of the head bolts is required as these bolts are tightened in the plastic zone.
Cheers
